Frequently Asked Questions
We believe design should feel effortless — and so should finding information. Every home, and every project, begins with questions. Here are a few we are asked most often.
For more in-depth answers about our process, timelines, and more, visit our FAQ & Resources page.
-
A consultation is a focused, single visit designed to give you clear direction on a specific question or decision. If you know what you need help with and want to move forward on your own, a consultation is a great fit.
Full service design is an end-to-end process that covers everything from concept through installation. If you want someone to handle the entire process from start to finish, full service is the right path.
-
Absolutely. A consultation is a great way to get clear on your direction before committing to a full project.
Many clients use a Space Planning consultation to nail down their furniture layout before moving into full service furnishing design. If after your consultation you decide you want to move forward with a full project, we can talk through next steps at that point.
-
Consultations are paid in full at the time of booking. Once payment is received you'll receive a confirmation and we'll coordinate a time to meet at your home. Consultations are available in the greater Portland metro area only.
-
If you find you need more support after your consultation, we're happy to talk through whether a full service project makes sense for your situation.
Many clients find that a consultation gives them the clarity they need to move forward on their own, but if the scope grows we have options to support you further.

Life happens and we completely understand. We just ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee, and no-shows will be charged the full consultation fee. Rescheduling requests made in advance are always accommodated when possible.
